We are seeking a General Manager to oversee operations, manage cross-departmental
coordination, and drive sustainable growth. The role involves close collaboration with
department heads and artisans to ensure efficient workflows and foster a supportive
community environment. The ideal candidate should have hands-on management
experience and a practical approach to short-term and long-term problem-solving.
Key Responsibilities
● Operational Leadership
● Coordinate across departments, including production, marketing, and sales, ensuring
smooth daily operations.
● Liaise with department heads to implement efficient workflows that improve
productivity and maintain quality standards.
● Support the development of internal strategies to streamline processes and foster
sustainable growth.
● Assist in managing budgets and financial planning to ensure the atelier’s financial
sustainability.
● Ensure all operations are aligned with ethical and financial guidelines.
Artisan Network Management
● Maintain and expand the network of artisans through yearly social and community
events and communication.
● Maintain strong relationships with artisans, promoting mutual respect, appreciation
and trust.
● Coordinate production workflows with artisans, ensuring timelines and quality
standards are met.
● Organize community-building activities, including the annual artisan conference and
award ceremony.
Team Development
● Collaborate with department heads to recruit, train, and support new team
members.
● Foster a positive work environment that reflects the brand’s values of collaboration,
respect, and creativity values.
● Encourage team-building activities to strengthen internal cohesion and promote
community engagement.
Brand Representation
● Represent the brand in internal and external interactions, upholding its values and
mission.
● Work with the marketing team to develop campaigns celebrating artisans’ stories
and heritage.
● Participate in local and international events to build brand visibility.
Qualifications and Requirements
● Minimum of 7-10 years of experience in a managerial role, preferably in the fashion,
luxury, or creative industries.
● Strong understanding of operational management, including production workflows
and team coordination.
● Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with a natural ability to build trust
and foster relationships.
● Experience working with artisans or community networks is highly preferred.
● Ability to organize and lead workshops, team-building activities, and community
events.
● Financial literacy, with the ability to manage budgets and support revenue growth.
● Fluency in Arabic and English; additional languages are a plus.
● Hands-on approach with a practical mindset to problem-solving.
● Commitment to working on-site five days a week at the atelier in Chouf.
