When the butterfly came to Paris
Paris, the city of lights and dreams, became the backdrop for our SS25 lookbook—a milestone that felt almost impossible to achieve given the challenges we faced back home in Lebanon. Yet, against all odds, we made it happen, crafting a collection that now carries the spirit of resilience, artistry, and collaboration.
This journey was anything but easy. The logistical hurdles of planning a shoot in another country, the distance from our home base, and the sheer complexity of bringing together an international team could have easily deterred us. But in the face of every obstacle, we found a way forward—thanks to the people who poured their hearts into this project.
At the helm of it all was our incredible producer, Nour Mady, whose meticulous planning and unwavering support ensured that every detail came together seamlessly. Her expertise guided us through unfamiliar terrain, allowing us to focus on the creative vision. That vision, brought to life under the direction of Melanie Dagher, set the tone for an extraordinary shoot. Melanie’s artistic sensibilities and keen eye transformed ideas into stunning realities.
None of this would have been possible without the talent behind the lens. Photographer Rayan Nohra and videographer Lokmane infused every shot with emotion and depth, capturing the essence of our collection in a way that felt both powerful and poetic. Adding another layer of artistry, Mical Valusek shot the lookbook with an inspiring sense of purpose, completing this project as one of her final works before stepping into motherhood. Supported by studio assistant Flore Lorente, the shoot ran with a beautiful harmony of precision and spontaneity.
Beyond the camera, a team of creatives worked tirelessly to bring our vision to life. My dear friend, Lynn Adib, was a pillar of encouragement, offering her unwavering support throughout the journey. Maïssa Carbonara’s art direction elevated every frame, ensuring that every detail resonated with the essence of our collection. Leen Lakkis cared for the models with warmth and dedication while capturing intimate behind-the-scenes moments that told a story of their own.
Hair and makeup artists Beth and Maelys transformed our models—Shana, Mimi, and Wang—into ethereal muses, each bringing their unique presence to the shoot. Their beauty, confidence, and grace added an element of magic to every frame. And from afar, our styling consultant Kris Volkanovski lent his expertise, ensuring that every look came together flawlessly.
This shoot was more than just a creative project; it was a testament to perseverance, collaboration, and the power of dreams. Every person involved carried this vision forward with passion and dedication, proving that even the greatest challenges can be turned into something beautiful when you have the right people by your side.
From Lebanon to Paris, from sketches to reality—this was our dream come true.
