Flight of a Hoopoe. The film Script

He spreads his wings, the wind carries him…

Free.

Below him, the world is small, everything is in bloom.

A hoopoe.

A lake beneath, moonlight dancing upon it. Five swans. His friends.

He shares stories with the birds.

His crown raised, black at its tips. His wings are a painting.

Sunset descends. Mist wraps around him. Dusk brings darkness to the hoopoe's journey.

He lands.

A drawn bow.

Stillness.

An arrow pierces the night.

His wing breaks.

He falls.

Darkness.

Cold.

Silence.

He feels alone.

Flowers bloom around him. Thorns glisten. Roots hold him.

A drop of blood becomes a flower. Born from pain.

They all come to carry him. Angels... the swans from the lake...

And only in the night... in the darkness… the hoopoe sees the stars.

He spreads his broken wing.

He soars.
